SETE MARES & CO (The Portuguese name of Seven Seas & Co) is an Angolan company of marine surveyors and adjusters based in Luanda with offices in all ports of the country.

 

OUR SERVICES ARE ORGANISED IN THREE DEPARTMENTS:

1.   DRY CARGO SERVICES and INSURANCE DEPARTMENT

·          Surveys and inspections

·          Out-turn reports and tally services

·          Loss investigations

·          Non-marine loss investigations and surveys


2.   HULL – P&I AND MARINE SERVICES - TECHNICAL SERVICES

·          Condition surveys and H&M surveys

·          On-Hire/Off-Hire + Bunker surveys

·          Small crafts and fishing vessels

·          Tow approval 

·          Collision cases and FFO claims

·          Pollution cases 

·          Stevedore damage

·          Statutory + Class Surveys – ISM/ISPS Lead Auditors for several Flags and Class Societies


3.   OIL INSPECTION SERVICES

·          Our third department handles all inspections and surveys in respect of oil products.

Amongst recent improvements we may advise that we:

·         equipped all our offices with submarine cameras, portable computers, etc.

·         have Ultra Sonic hatch cover testers,

·         increased our workforce to about 150 surveyors and tallymen in Angola

·         are the only company with surveyors 24h/24 in 5 ports (Luanda, Lobito, Namibe, Cabinda and Soyo).

 

Access to a network

Outside of the company we have sub-contractors. We sub-contract some complex machinery surveys. We also have a working agreement with Angolan Lawyers.
